Our MISSION

The Lucerne Alpine Senior Center organization is dedicated to providing a safe and welcoming place for seniors in the North Shore communities. Our center offers a place to gather, enjoy meals, activities, and events together.

In addition, we are here to help seniors access resources that will improve their health and quality of life; offering a turn-key venue for community events; and develop an emergency services hub for local residents when needed.

THANK YOU, DELORES!

Delores Farrell, our Executive Director since May 2023, announced her retirement last month. Many thanks to Delores for doing so much to help bring back our services and activities and get us started in our new role as a community resiliency center. We wish you a happy and healthy retirement.

RESILIENCE CENTER

The Lucerne Alpine Senior Center will open as a Resilience Center for community members of all ages during emergencies and extreme weather events. During the current winter season we will be open as a Warming Center for providing a safe, warm environment for community members of all ages during the hours of 8-10 a.m., Tues.-Fri., when temperatures drop below 32 degrees Fahrenheit for more than two days in a row, providing that we have enough volunteers. If you're interested in volunteering to help with the warming center, please stop by or call us at (707) 274-8779 during open hours or leave a message with your name and number.
